Useful answers before you order
Do vehicle kits include wall mounting hardware?
No. Vehicle kits include the ARmA15 mount and the hardware for that vehicle application. Wall mounting hardware is a separate option if you also want to use the mount on a wall. The wall mount kit includes its wall mounting hardware.
Can the wall mount be installed vertically?
Yes. The detailed wall installation video covers both horizontal and vertical mounting, plus lock options. The quick installation video shows horizontal mounting only. Watch the detailed wall installation video.
Is a lock included?
A lock is not included. See the lock options in the detailed wall installation video and the wall mount product details before selecting your lock.
Which Dodge kit should I choose?
The Dodge options are split into 2018 and earlier, and 2019 and newer. Select the correct option and read its fitment details on the Dodge truck mount kits page.
Are the wall and vehicle versions different mounts?
The ARmA15 mount is the base product; the vehicle kits add mounting hardware for the selected vehicle application. Choose the kit for your vehicle, then use its current installation guide. Vehicle kits do not include wall mounting hardware.
Does a hardware-only kit include an ARmA15 mount?
No. A hardware-only kit contains mounting hardware, not the ARmA15 mount itself. It is for someone who already has the mount. Check the product’s contents before ordering.
Can I copy any installation shown in the customer photos?
Some owners built their own brackets, boards, or mounting locations. Those photos document individual projects; they do not establish fitment for every vehicle, seat layout, rifle, or accessory. Use the current kit’s fitment details and installation guide for your setup.
Why does the older Ford video look different from my truck hardware?
The Ford demonstration shows an earlier installation method. Current Ford, Chevy/GMC, and Dodge truck kits use rivnuts. The shared rivnut tutorial at the bottom of the Ford guide shows the current tool and technique.
Where should I use lubricant and Loctite on the Ford kit?
Lubricate the rivnut installation tool’s working threads as shown in the tutorial. Loctite threadlocker is recommended on the Ford kit’s final mounting fasteners; the Ford kit does not use nylon-insert lock nuts. Keep threadlocker off the installation tool’s working threads. See the Ford instructions and parts diagram.
Will every rifle that looks like an AR fit the mount?
Do not assume compatibility from appearance or from another owner’s custom build. Check the current firearm compatibility information for your particular model and configuration before ordering. Photos of adapted installations are not a universal fit guarantee.
