The Chevy GMC AR15 truck mount combines the American-built ARmA15 locking mount with the hardware and support bar for mounting beneath the rear folding seat. Keep your compatible rifle discreetly under the rear seat while preserving clearance for normal seat movement.
🚙 Choose the Correct Vehicle Kit
Chevy/GMC trucks — 1998 and newer. Designed for Chevy and GMC trucks from 1998 onward, with the appropriate rear-seat mounting arrangement. Check the underside of your rear seat and available space before ordering.
Check seat frame/tube placement, seat movement, floor hump, storage bins, subwoofers, jack location, wiring, and rifle/optic clearance. If your configuration is unusual or you are unsure, send us your year, make, and model before ordering.

1× ARmA15 locking mount.
1× Chevy/GMC under-seat hardware kit with a flat steel support bar.
Rivnut hardware and Rivnut installation tool.
2× bolts and 2× lock washers to attach the ARmA15 to the support bar.
4× flange bolts (2 short and 2 long) and 4× nylon-insert flange nuts for the seat frame/tube mounting arrangement.
Wall hardware and lock are not included. This is a complete mount-and-vehicle-hardware bundle, not a hardware-only purchase.
Vehicle Hardware: Parts 1–7
Flat support bar: Flat steel bar cut to the required length to provide added support and strength.
Rivnut: The threaded insert used in the installation.
Rivnut installation tool: Used to set the rivnut.
ARmA15 mounting bolts: Attach the ARmA15 mount to the flat support bar (#1). Loctite threadlocker is recommended on these bolts.
Lock washers: Use with the ARmA15 mounting bolts (#4). Loctite is still recommended on #4.
Frame mounting bolts: Attach the flat support bar (#1) to the seat’s tube frame.
Nylon-insert lock nuts: The nylon insert resists loosening. No Loctite or lock washers are needed or recommended on these nuts for this kit.
Loctite is not included. Wall-mount lag bolts and the wall-kit Torx bit are sold separately.
💪 Built from Plate Steel — Not Some Folded Tin Taco
The vehicle hardware changes; the core ARmA15 locking mount is the same American-built mount used in our wall kit. You get a heavy-duty steel frame, reinforced locking points, and an ABS polymer magazine block designed to protect your firearm’s finish.
ARmA15 Frame and Locking Points
Frame: 3/16-inch plate steel, approximately 0.188 inch (4.78 mm).
Locking points: 1/4-inch solid steel, 0.25 inch (6.35 mm).
Thickness comparison: the frame is approximately a stack of two U.S. quarters and a dime; the locking points are approximately four quarters.
For comparison, nominal 14-gauge mild steel is about 0.0747 inch thick and 16-gauge about 0.0598 inch. The ARmA15 frame is about 2.5 times and 3.1 times those thicknesses, respectively.
Thickness comparisons describe the material, not a guarantee that every complete installation has the same strength. Engineering comparisons depend on steel properties, geometry, loading, hardware, and the mounting surface.
Thin sheet metal may be fine for a lunchbox. Your rifle deserves more than a folded tin taco.

🔓 Choose Your Lock — Lock Not Included
The interchangeable lock design lets you choose a compatible padlock, a quick-access lock, or a hidden-shackle puck lock. Choose the lock that suits your storage needs and confirm fit before use. The lock hole diameter is 0.44 inch (11.18 mm).
Quick-access lock: for convenient routine access.
Hidden-shackle puck lock: covers the shackle to reduce access to it.
Standard padlock: a straightforward alternative.
🔍 Firearm Compatibility
Compatible platforms: AR-15, M4, M16, Tavor SAR*, ARX-100, SCAR-16, AR-15 6.8 SPC, AR-15 .300 Blackout, AR-15 .458 SOCOM, KelTec SU16, left-handed Rock River Arms AR-15, and California featureless AR-15s.
Not compatible: left-handed Stag AR-15, SIG 556xi, AR-10, LR-308, AK-47, shotguns, or firearms that do not use an AR-15-style magazine. A compatible firearm platform does not by itself establish vehicle clearance: check your optic, sling, and other accessories.
*Tavor SAR is compatible. Tavor X95 requires a low-profile or folding cocking handle upgrade. For a fixed-magazine configuration or uncertain fit, contact ARmA15 before ordering.
🏠 One Mount, More Than One Location
The optional, separately purchased Wall Mount Hardware Kit lets you install the ARmA15 on a suitable wood stud. Its low-profile design supports vertical or horizontal wall placement in a closet, behind a jacket, or behind suitable wall art. Because a drywall screw isn’t a security plan.
The mount sits approximately 3-5/8 inches from the wall when locked. Moving it to a different vehicle requires the appropriate hardware and a fresh clearance check.

Use the matching hardware and follow the vehicle-specific instructions. Verify what is behind any proposed hole before drilling; avoid wiring, harnesses, and other vehicle components.
